Development of an interactive game for the EU Info Center in Montenegro aimed to introduce the people of Montenegro to the culture and history of EU member states, as well as to the EU and its institutions. Tasked to support the creation of an engaging quiz game “EU in the palm of your hand“ („EU na dlanu”), our team has come up with quiz questions, game design and development, as well as promotional strategy and materials to which they further contributed by coming up with explainer and teaser videos that served as promotional tools.
The game itself is a responsive web-based video game with special attention paid to the needs of mobile users (interface, performance, low data usage). Moreover, a backend result registration and anti-cheat system connected to a third-party certified random draw service was created. This solution enabled the possibility of organising a fair competition based on the game results.
The entirety of the platform was created as a set of modules that can be replaced and re-used. Want to turn the game into a multi-part competition between schools – we’ve got you covered (prava na dlanu). Want to replace a board-game overworld with a simulation of moving through a parliament building, collecting votes? Sure. Replace, remove or modify mini-games or run the game as part of a video stream? No problem.
Game engine is customisable, including an add-on solution for people with disabilities.
