Some stories begin with a question.
Ours was: How can we make ESG accessible, actionable, and relevant for every company in the Western Balkans?
That’s how the LEAD project came to life.
LEAD (Leveraging ESG for Advancement of Strategic Business Diversification) is a project aimed at strengthening the capacities of partner organizations and developing innovative digital tools to advance the adoption of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles among companies in the region. Through collaboration between organizations from Montenegro, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the project introduces a mobile ESG platform designed for education, certification, and strategic advisory services – tailored to the needs of SMEs, corporations, and ESG professionals. Key activities include research on current practices, the creation of interactive educational content, the development of a gamified learning app, and a targeted campaign promoting the benefits of ESG. By driving sustainable development, competitiveness, and business diversification, the project lays the groundwork for broader ESG implementation across the region in line with modern global trends.
At Alicorn, we’ve taken on the role of lead partner, alongside Pro-Map (HR) and PRIME Communications (BiH), to design and build the digital foundation of this project. Because what LEAD seeks to do is nothing short of transformation – giving companies of all sizes, especially SMEs, tools to grow stronger by going greener.
